Hi, I’m Jess. I’m a licensed social worker based in Chicago. I follow a trauma-informed approach to therapy and encourage individuals to view their healing journey with curiosity and self-compassion. I believe that everyone is formed with an unreplicable uniqueness, and I enjoy working alongside people to reconnect with their authentic selves. It is an invaluable and precious gift to yourself and others when you show up as just yourself. 

I tend to use Internal Family Systems (IFS), strengths-based, and attachment-based approaches to therapy. However, I prioritize the uniqueness of each of my clients’ healing journeys, and I work collaboratively using methods that individually work for them. In each of our sessions, you can expect to be met with empathy, non-judgmental curiosity, openness, and empowerment. I have a special heart and experience for matters regarding religious/spiritual abuse, AANHPI identity and racial trauma, and family caregivers (especially of people living with Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia).

I love working with people to cultivate their own safe spaces and practices that encourage self-discovery and growth. No matter is too “insignificant” or “silly” for acknowledgment and exploration. I’d love to meet you wherever you’re at and see what your next steps could look like.
