I am a first-generation immigrant from the Philippines and have lived in the US since I was a kid. Today, I am a therapist who lives in Jackson, MS. I specialize in working with clients on issues around racial/cultural identity, trauma, addiction & sobriety, and relationships.
I work with clients of color on issues around racial and cultural identity. I help them learn to integrate the values and beliefs they were raised with and find a way to be authentically Filipino, Punjabi, Chinese, etc… without all the other baggage. I help my clients learn how to have better boundaries with their families while still honoring and respecting them. I walk with them on their journey breaking generational cycles of unhealthy communication and behavior they’ve seen their whole lives.
