Karen Fox, MA, APCC is a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from the California School of Professional Psychology and her Bachelor’s Degree in Music from California State University, Sacramento. She enjoys integrating these two seemingly disparate fields into her work as a counselor.
Specializing in neurodivergent-affirming care, Karen is particularly attuned to the unique needs of individuals and couples navigating late-diagnosed ADHD and autism, anxious attachment styles, and the Asian-American experience. Her therapeutic toolkit includes Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting, creating a tailored and effective approach to support her clients.
Beyond the counseling room, Karen enjoys listening to podcasts, collecting small and silly instruments, and partaking in the unique art of picking up heavy objects and putting them back down again (some may refer to this as weightlifting).
