Bio

As a first generation Filipinx immigrant, I have experienced the struggles and challenges of growing up between cultures. Through my unique upbringing (and years of self-discovery!) I have gained insight into how to practice cultural integration and ways to live life fully within a multicultural society. I’m passionate about & have years of experience working with the Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) and the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.

I work with folks who have experienced intergenerational trauma, religious/spiritual abuse, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and complicated grief. My approach is culturally responsive, anti-oppressive, & work from decolonizing frameworks to hold space for communities targeted for marginalization. My training in pastoral counseling has also equipped me to help folks understand their struggles while deepening their sense of faith/spirituality.

I draw from various modalities of therapy and take a collaborative approach to help address each client’s unique need. I incorporate elements of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, Existential Therapy, and Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP) to promote positive and effective changes which lead to mental and spiritual growth and development.

My hope is that we will work together to help you find joy and to discover your own unique path to live life fully.
