My clients share a sense of anxiety, frustration, and shame that stems from disconnection. Disconnection between what they know to be good for them and what they actually do. This is known as the “knowing-doing gap,” and I help my clients close this gap as much as possible.
My educational background is rooted in psychology (BA) and social work (MSW), and my therapeutic approach, guided by Attachment theory, ACT, and Buddhist philosophy, is inquisitive, compassionate, and attuned. I also integrate coaching strategies to help you take actionable steps.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My assumption about life is that it’s hard. No matter where you are in life, suffering is inevitable. At the same time, sharing our suffering with others is what makes it bearable and worthwhile. I’m grateful that I get to help others process their suffering and take action to improve their lives. Outside of work, I enjoy running, playing tennis, and gardening.
