I specialize in supporting people with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions and identity exploration. We can all feel lost at times, questioning our sense of worth and belonging. I would love to accompany you and help you find a meaningful way forward.
I have a special interest in working with young adults from diverse cultural identities and backgrounds, including students, and young professionals.
With my experience in post-secondary and community mental health settings, I can be solution-focused when needed, and also make space for deeper emotional work. Past clients have shared that they find me to be gentle, non-judgmental, and compassionate in my approach.
As a second-generation Chinese-Canadian woman, I recognize the influence that oppression, exclusion, and marginalization can have on our mental health and sense of well-being. I believe in the importance of acknowledging this and working to undo the stories and narratives that such systems have imposed upon us.
In my spare time, I love exploring nearby towns and cities. I am a self-proclaimed “foodie” and I enjoy experimenting with new places to eat and drink. I also love yoga, modern calligraphy, and the occasional reality TV show to unwind in the evening.
