Bio

As a licensed therapist, I have over nine years of experience working with individuals and families of various ages and backgrounds in school, hospital and private practice settings. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress, often accompanied by challenges with self-esteem, people-pleasing, and perfectionism. I especially enjoy working with female teens, college students, and young professional women who are self-aware and motivated to grow. As a biracial (Asian/White) therapist, I also understand the complexities of identity for biracial and multiracial individuals and am passionate about providing a supportive space to explore these experiences.

I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, and view clients as the experts of their own lives. In sessions, I use a person-centered and integrative approach to use tools and techniques that are the right fit for you. Additionally, I utilize CBT, ACT, and EMDR based strategies. Beyond this practice, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and I see infinite value in incorporating mindfulness techniques that promote a feeling of connection, awareness, and balance between your mind and body.

Above all, I strive to create a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. It would be a privilege to join you on this path.
