Bio

I am a second wave (1960s) Korean American adoptee.  I grew up on NJ & RI, have lived in Cambridge, MA, NYC, South Korea & currently live in RI with my wife & 4 rescue felines:  Eartha Kitty, Marvin Gray, Arlo Catrie & Cat Stevie Nicks.  I am also an award-winning visual artist, focusing on colored pens on gray paper.  I am also a published writer, award-winning poet.

I am experienced & committed to working with diverse populations including BIPOC & LGBTQIA communities.  I work with adult individuals & couples on issues including relationships, communication, mood regulation, commitment & marriage, solution-focused, strength-based & emotional mapping.  As your therapist, we will unpack your issues (from childhood) that inform your current situation where you will be doing the emotional heavy lifting & learn how to identify your feelings through journaling & helpful homework assignments while achieving goals including practicing self-care & empowerment.
