Bio

I (pronouns: she/her/hers) am a psychotherapist who has been active in the counseling field for over a decade. I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, community mental health clinics, and a group practice, and with various populations from students (pre-kindergarten to college) to adults of all ages. Through these experiences, I have treated a variety of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, chronic mental health, and addiction.

In particular, I specialize in work related to intimate partner violence and cultural identity. I have worked extensively with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and have run cultural identity groups processing Asian identity and mental health.

My social justice values informs my intersectional work, with systemic/institutional oppression and for clients identifying with marginalized backgrounds. I believe in connecting with clients through theories like Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT), Attachment Theory, and Positive and Self Psychology, while also empowering clients to reframe unhelpful thoughts through theories like Narrative Therapy, Trauma Informed- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

I am currently licensed in Massachusetts and California.
