Bio
I believe that effective therapy is built on trust and unconditional empathy. My treatment approach is rooted in the importance of the individual, using methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, and Somatic skills. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, judgment free space where you can openly express your thoughts and feelings. I am dedicated to taking the time to truly get to know you, so that I can incorporate your interests into treatment in creative ways. I want you to not only process your past, but be equipped with practical tools to fuel your future.
I am ready to help you navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, childhood/religious trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and adoption/foster care. I have a diverse background in both behavioral and mental health therapy in a variety of settings, including extensive work with neurodivergent children and adults.
Searching for a therapist you can entrust with the most vulnerable aspects of your life can be daunting. My role is to make sure you feel completely heard, at ease, and supported throughout the process. My hope is that each client leaves our sessions with a renewed focus on self-compassion, and a clearer picture of what fills them with purpose and joy.
