Bio

My name is Phoebe, and I am pleased to offer you a warm welcome. Being born and raised in a southeast Asian family and country and currently residing in North America, I empathize with the kinds of struggles you may face and how you cope with living in world that seems increasingly scary and hostile to racialized people. If your struggles include mental health and disability issues, relational conflict and trauma, or immigration/newcomer issues, I would love to come alongside and offer you support.

Experiences have taught me that life is characterized by joy and suffering. To truly heal from suffering, all facets of the person must be addressed and restored. Counselling, therefore, involves listening holistically and unflinchingly to your stories of sorrows and struggles, as well as walking with you in your counselling journey.

I affirm an approach that incorporates both resources that come from within and without you. It would be my great pleasure to walk with you in your counselling journey!
