I am an Asian Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience, licensed in MD, DC and VA.

 

My background is clinical and corporate: I’ve worked with patients at an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in MD and also with corporate employees and their families through Employee Assistance Program(EAP).

 

Specialties include Anxiety/Panic, Depression, Trauma, Grief and Loss, Family and Relationship issues, Life/Career Transition and Cultural identity issues etc. I work with individuals, couples, families, both teenagers (15yo +) and adults, using multiple therapy modalities including CBT/DBT, EMDR, Narrative, Sand Tray, Solution-focused, Mindfulness based approach.

 

Personally, I’ve lived and worked in Asia, Middle East, Europe and Latin America in the past, and have MA in International Communication. Cross-cultural issues including family history, transition, race, communication, and transformation are very close to my heart.
