Bio

I am a psychotherapist in private practice, based in Evanston, Illinois, with over 7 years of private practice experience working with adults to help them address life challenges, including anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, work-related issues, and parenting. I especially enjoy working with South Asian-Americans who are also navigating cross-cultural expectations and conflict. My approach is to help clients draw on their strengths and feel empowered to make the changes they need to feel happier and more fulfilled. I utilize an eclectic approach tailored to each client, including CBT, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and mindfulness/meditation.

I bring a unique professional background to my therapy practice. Prior to becoming a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I enjoyed a successful corporate career for 18 years, with leadership roles in brand management and marketing strategy at Procter & Gamble, Kraft, PepsiCo, and as an independent consultant. This experience has given me a rich understanding of navigating workplace relationships, integrating work with other spheres of life, and pursuing work that is meaningful.

I have a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Knox College, an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an MA in Counseling from Northwestern University. I look forward to working with you!
