Pronouns: She / Her

Bio

I am a Taiwanese American in my early 40s, a mother of three, an introvert married to another introvert, and an INFJ. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #50028 and have been practicing psychotherapy since 2007.

The things that matter to me are breaking pathological labels, holding space for and affirming all of our identities, including spiritual ones, and experiencing healing that empowers esteem and courage.

I work best with clients who care so deeply about their relationships that they feel burnt out, lonely, resentful, and guilty. I help my clients shift from always orienting themselves to others’ needs and perspectives to their own. Through the course of therapy, my clients find that they can:

  • Know and ask for what they need and want clearly and confidently

  • Ask the same caring questions they ask others to themselves

  • Stay the course in holding to the healthy boundaries they’ve chosen

Many of my clients have considered couples therapy to start but find that doing their own work has organically led to more capacity and peace in their relationships. Therapy with me is to know how to cue yourself to places where you’re working too hard and give permission to the hidden parts of you to be recognized, affirmed, and empowered.

I’ve been in therapy myself and know it is transformative, challenging, and vulnerable. It is a commitment to invest in yourself and sustainably shift out of the old patterns, spirals, and reactions.

Special welcome to the hyper-independent, neurodiverse, and self-described addictive personalities.
