I walk alongside folks moving through life transitions, intersectional identity exploration, and trauma recovery. My warm, relational, anti-oppressive approach prioritizes intergenerational healing in historically silenced Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities by centering healing justice/collective liberation. Community members come to me with tension in their bodies, feeling stuck, and unsure what to do next. I help children/teens, young adults, parents, and families put down their “protective armor” in order to lighten the emotional load. Together, we can co-create the anti-racist, identity-affirming care that you have been longing for.
As a queer, non-binary, South-Asian American in mental health/substance use recovery, I know that healing is non-linear. I am skilled to go beyond one-size-fits-all approaches by weaving proven modalities with expressive/narrative techniques, body-based/somatic practices, decolonized cultural understandings of complex trauma, and harm reduction principles.
As a domestic violence advocate/substance use specialist, my nourishing partnerships are rooted in collaboration and cultural humility. I feel most energized providing care in English/Bengali to South Asian immigrant/second gen/diasporic folks navigating identity exploration and queer folks wanting to feel more at home in their bodies.
