Bio
We may not be able to control the external events or the actions of people around us; we can choose to respond in ways that strengthen and empower us, regardless of the situation we face. It is my belief and experience that by looking inwards, we can transform the impacts of our past and create a different future and perspective for ourselves.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTSI) from Hong Kong. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Lifespan Integration (LI). My counselling approach is also grounded in CBT, ACT and mindfulness. I practice in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
My interest in becoming a counsellor came from my experience of witnessing a close family member suffering from schizophrenia, along with my own struggles with domestic abuse, anxiety and self-confidence. My goal is to come alongside my clients to create conditions for healing, resilience and growth.
