Bio

Life is an ever-changing and often challenging journey, it’s not common to find yourself feeling confused, frustrated, and stuck. It takes strength and courage to engage in personal growth and therapy can help.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with 10 years of clinical experience. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in different settings including schools, outpatient clinics, and private practice. While I have experience working with different populations and presenting concerns, I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults on issues related to exploring and understanding identity, promoting academic achievement, enriching career development, and strengthening emotional well-being.
My primary theoretical orientation is relational psychodynamic and I believe that the foundation of therapy is in the strength of the therapeutic relationship. I also incorporate a variety of other styles and techniques depending on my client’s individual needs. These include trauma informed care, CBT techniques, ACT skills, and mindfulness based interventions. I work to empower you through strength-based approaches that encourage self-acceptance and growth. I use a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive, and intersectional framework throughout our work together to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself.
