Bio
Everyone experiences trauma in one point in their life; no matter how big or small it may be. Often times, we may not know how trauma is impacting our life, until life gets too hard to manage alone. Whether it is experiencing constant reminders of the past, having a hard time trusting others or themselves again, or feeling overwhelmed by their own emotions. I hope to support those in their trauma healing journey, however that may look for each person.
As a Clinical Social Worker, I strive to be culturally sensitive, nonjudgmental, and client-centered in my approach in therapy. My approach is evidence-based and solution-focused with a sprinkle of humor. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitiation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I work best with those who are ready to tackle their trauma or explore how to do so. I truly believe everyone deserves a safe space to grow from their trauma and rewrite their own narrative to reach their full potential.
