Bio

You deserve to live an audacious life. You deserve to be seen. You deserve to have your stories held and validated. I am passionate about helping to empower you to find your voice and live your life on your terms. I provide compassionate, supportive, culturally humble psychotherapy for adults with depression, anxiety, stress, grief, loss, relationship issues, identity issues, ADHD, executive functioning, and many other issues. I am deeply committed to providing a safe space to empower you to learn new coping skills, deepen relationships with yourself and others, and to live a more fulfilled life.

I have clinical and research experience at the National Institute of Mental Health and National Institute on Drug Abuse, am a national trainer and keynote public speaker, a consultant for social work licensure exams, and worked on the social work compact to increase access to care.
I provide a safe and supportive space for you to do the hard things preventing you from living the life you want to live. We will work on a treatment plan that honors your strengths and goals, and addresses the things that no longer serve you. Our work together will empower you to take ownership of your journey to heal.

I am trained in several evidence-based modalities. I take the time to get to know my clients to see which approach fits best with each client and presenting issues. As a clinical social worker, I always consider a client within their entire environment, including health, family, friends, job, neighborhood, and other variables that impact each of us. I am committed to the social work values of empowering individuals and communities to have the agency and resources to achieve their goals, and to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in creating authentic and trusting relationships.

Therapy can feel overwhelming or scary, and it doesn’t have to be. I will hold space for you to unfold into the person and life you want. You have nothing to lose by calling for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’d be a good fit. I look forward to meeting you!
