Bio

I believe many people are combating difficult emotional problems everyday without much support. As I can understand how seeking help can be intimidating, it is my professional and personal goal to always strive to offer my clients a warm, empathic, and safe place to address their challenges.

My areas of expertise include complex trauma, PTSD, and challenges that come with such impactful life events. I am passionate to serve those whose trauma has affected their lives and to empower themselves and gain control of their life path. Additionally, I have experiences working with individuals struggling to determine their cultural identity and navigate complex multicultural issues that manifest in relationships and professional settings. I am bilingual in Vietnamese and English and provide therapy in both languages.
I have worked in medical hospitals, government institutions, and private settings with a wide range of populations. I utilize a client-centered approach (meaning I believe YOU are the expert on you). This approach allows clients to identify their own strengths and resources. I also use cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches.
