Bio
Are you looking for an emotional supporter who sees and hears you? Are you trying to understand the ways your body responds to emotions or traumas? Through a collaborative relationship with me, you will learn not to fear your own emotions and become a closer friend with yourself. Your survival mechanisms, cultural identities, inner strengths, and creativity deserve to be honored and validated. A trusting and loving therapeutic relationship with me will help you rediscover your self-love, self-compassion, and confidence while sharing your life stories.
Exploring and meeting the needs of your inner child also helps you find gentle love for yourself and your loved ones. You are capable of loving and being loved, and I am here to walk the journey with you.
As an Asian immigrant, I understand the complexity in the intersectionality of our racial and gender identities as well as the acculturation process. As a dance/movement therapist and psychotherapist, I believe that our bodies hold the wisdom to help us cope with stress and survive from trauma. Feel free to ask me questions!
