Bio
I am a Queer Taiwanese-Canadian who currently resides on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, & Tsleil-Waututh nations – also known as the Vancouver Lower Mainland. My mission is to guide, advocate, and to help people who need support by empowering them to make informed decisions in their community. Growing up as someone who became the bridge between two cultures, I understand what it can be like to grapple with the challenges that come with integrating different values & boundaries. Communicating itself is difficult, nevermind the anxieties, shame, & guilt that may come up when there are language & cultural barriers.
As a queer individual who grew up in a traditional family & conservative community, I understand the difficulties those in the LGBTQIA2S+ community may experience in reconciling with their sexuality, gender identity, & faith or lack thereof. It can be hard to find a space to be your true authentic self when you’re constantly having to justify who you are.
I believe that healing begins when we can find safe spaces where we can be unapologetically and whole-heartedly ourselves, without fear of judgement. I hope that I can have the opportunity to provide that safe space for you. Should you choose to connect, it would be my utmost privilege to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
