Bio

Seeking help is a sign of inner strength. Perhaps things don’t seem to go the way you wanted in your personal, family, and/or professional life. You might be hitting a wall in your relationships, missing out on promotions, or feeling a sense of emptiness despite your accomplishments and accolades. You might feel stuck and lonely, your usual ways of managing life no longer serve you well. You might wonder “What is wrong with me?” “Something is missing in my life..” “How can I be better human being?” “I am just not good enough.”

I hope that through our therapeutic collaboration, you would start to explore the question of “What happened to me?” I believe that we are born inherently good. Due to our upbringing and other social factors, we adapted to handling things and relating to people in our own unique ways. These ways might have served us well for a while. Then life throws us a curveball, we stumbled and fell. We become disoriented. Perhaps these “old ways” of doing and being no longer serve us well. I am here to help, I hope that I can offer you a breadth of fresh air and a brand new perspective to explore how you can make changes to your life.

This is my second career. I have sat on both sides of the chairs–As a client and as a therapist. After experiencing personal crisis in my early thirties, my own healing journey led me to this work. My lived experiences as an international student/immigrant, an employee of big corporations, a divorcee, a stay-at-mother/wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend enable me to relate to your realities and struggles. I offer culturally sensitive and affirming relational psychoanalytic therapy. I also integrate various modes of treatment approaches in therapy to help you in this healing and transformative journey.

None of us are perfect or have it all together, we are not meant to live in this world by ourselves nor should we solve problems on our own. I would like to invite you to reach out to me via email or phone so that can connect and figure out what I can do for you to embark on this transformative journey together. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation.
