Bio
I am a clinical neuropsychologist and licensed psychologist (PSY34307). I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from UCLA, and hold positions in USC’s Department of Psychology and School of Gerontology, and am a clinical instructor in UCLA’s Psychology Clinic. I specialize in race-related stress and racial identity concerns, particularly for Asian Americans. These include race-related trauma and hate crimes, cross-cultural identity struggles, intergenerational family relationships, internalized racism, and intersection of racial and professional identities. I also have expertise in treating various addictions, depression, professional issues, burnout, and life transitions.

I provide evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). As an active clinical researcher, I also provide innovative treatments for racial identity issues. If you are struggling to process recent incident(s) of hate, have had difficulty connecting with therapists regarding identity issues, or are trying to discover your sense of personal and professional identity, please feel free to reach out and see if my therapy services may be helpful to you.

I provide neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for adolescents (age 16+) and adults, including diagnosis of learning disabilities, PTSD, ADHD, cognitive disorders, personality assessment, and disorders of aging. Psychoeducational evaluations also include documentation for appropriate testing accommodations at school and on standardized tests.

I provide a sliding scale for therapy and assessment using income verification. My lowest and highest rate for a 50-minute therapy session is $130-$300. I am an out-of-network provider, and can provide a Superbill to submit to insurance for reimbursement.

I believe that trust, empathy, and a strong relationship are essential to therapeutic success. I strive to provide a space in which clients can feel safe to be genuine and vulnerable, and work collaboratively to foster personal growth aligned with each individual’s values and goals. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
