Alex works collaboratively with her clients to gain a deeper understanding of their unique stories. Her approach is rooted in the understanding that past experiences and relationships deeply shape individuals.
Alex takes a holistic approach to wellness utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She specializes in working with clients who have experienced childhood and family woundings, attachment ruptures, anxiety, spiritual trauma, marriage and relational issues, and reparenting.
Additionally, Alex is passionate about breaking down the cultural stigmas and trauma that the AAPI community faces. She firmly believes that clients possess the necessary tools within themselves to flourish and actively assists them in examining their stories and strengths to move towards a state of health.
Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Colorado College, another Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary.
