Bio

Great to meet you! My name is Dr. Alice Phang, I am a Licensed Psychologist. I have worked with various populations and have a background helping individuals struggling with anxiety, emotional pain, and relationship problems.

A Bit about My Approach to Therapy: I take a holistic view in therapy which means I consider the entire person and their various interconnected aspects—physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual—rather than focusing solely on specific symptoms or issues in isolation. Our journey will be rooted in evidence-based approaches, utilizing techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and aspects of Performance Coaching.

What to Expect from Your First Session: Clients typically mention how much better they understand their issues after just one session. I will assist you in gaining insight and fostering self-compassion, while also encouraging you to challenge yourself for lasting change. I believe in establishing a trust-based relationship and proceeding at a pace that is comfortable for you. Most importantly, clients often express a sense of relief and hopefulness after the first session, indicating that I have effectively fulfilled my role.
