Bio

One of my primary goals is to empower my clients– to help people feel ready and able to try different things, and create the lives they’d like to see.

My typical clients are adults navigating difficult relationships, learning to say “yes” to themselves, working to ground themselves from their thoughts, and trying to separate what is comfortable from what is what they want.

My style is intentional in drawing from multiple modalities to best suit the client’s needs. I have particular experience in evidence-based methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also incorporate Interpersonal Process Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I do my best to maintain a stance of cultural humility, and strive to learn more about the impacts of various diversity factors.

I emphasize working collaboratively, having open dialogues, and exploring new perspectives and tools. Within the room, I offer a warm and understanding presence.

I live and work from Seattle, WA. However, I am licensed with PsyPact, which allows me to see clients from many other states.
