I’m a Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor who is most passionate about supporting individuals facing the complexities of change, whether it’s navigating the depths of grief, managing the ebbs and flows of anxiety, or the process of redefining their identity related to chronic illness and pain, disability, race, gender, or sexuality. Together, we will work as a team to process your lived experiences, helping you learn more about yourself and build skills to get through difficult times. To help you achieve your goals, I provide a collaborative process built on trust and tailor each session to best meet your unique needs, which may include cultivating self-compassion, expressing your emotions in healthy and creative ways, nurturing self-confidence, and helping you find a profound sense of inner calm. My goal is to empower you to not just navigate change but to thrive in the process, embracing your unique, authentic self along the way.

 

Art Therapy is a practice I utilize with clients to help process difficult experiences and emotions. Art therapy involves the creative process of art-making to help clients better understand their cognitive thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I consider the use of art therapy with counseling to enhance self-exploration, reflection, and personal insight. All my clients have the option to include Art Therapy in our work if they would like, no prior experience with art-making is necessary.
