Bio

You’re tired and you want to change.

You know there’s been bad things from the past that have happened, but haven’t addressed them yet.

You struggle to manage your emotions and feel triggered at even the slightest thing. You have recurring bad memories that make you feel terrible on the inside and out. You can’t control heightened emotional responses related towards people, places, or situations.

You want to create healthy relationships with others but there’s always something underlying from your past that keeps coming up.

You feel stuck and want to (a) change.

You’re ready to find healing from your past and want to address your trauma head on.

I am an EMDR trained and trauma therapist. I am passionate about helping individuals heal from their past and to move past feeling “stuck.”. In EMDR therapy, I draw from an attachment-focused perspective, integrating EMDR techniques with a focus on exploring and resolving attachment-related issues to promote healing and strengthen interpersonal connections. I have experience with evidenced-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. My primary approach will be trauma focused and structured.

As your therapist, I foster a space where you can openly express your thoughts and feelings without judgment, promoting a sense of security and trust. I attune to your individual needs and emotions.

During our time together, I will guide you and be present with you each step of the way. You can expect our sessions to be structured and trauma focused. I attune deeply to your individual needs and emotions. I will make sure to make you feel safe and emotionally connected to be able to process the hard things.

You are free to come as you are, being fully present and emotionally honest with yourself.

My goal is to help you gain a renewed sense of confidence to be able to function better in your day to day, and ultimately feel empowered to achieve your life goals.

I am currently under the supervision of Ah Hyun Lee, LCSW105879. I have gained all hours to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and am waiting to sit for the exam!
