Bio

Hello! My name is Kerry and I am really glad you are taking a leap forward by simply being here. Maybe your thoughts and emotions are difficult to sit with and you have been told that you “shouldn’t” be feeling a certain way. Many of my clients experience anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, loss, and life transitions, and have grown up in cultural environments that stigmatize help-seeking. Utilizing various evidence-based practices, I will work with you to explore the origins of your unhealthy patterns and find practical ways to build self-compassion and attunement. I approach therapy as a healing space for you to show up authentically, empower yourself, and strengthen tools that you can carry with you outside of session.

I am a highly sensitive, neurodivergent daughter of immigrants who has been driven to this profession by lived experiences and seeing a need in our communities for modes of therapy that can embody our cultural contexts. I am extremely passionate about working with adolescents and adults, creatives, highly sensitive people, and first- and second-generation Americans who feel they need a place for their unique, intersectional experiences to be validated and explored.

Finding a therapist can be really daunting, so you are already taking an amazing step forward by simply being here. If any of the above has resonated with you, I would be happy to connect! I can offer a free 15 minute phone call to see if we could potentially work together.
