As a therapist who is Chinese-American, a child of immigrants, and a first generation college student, I am passionate about working with clients who struggle with identity conflicts, discrimination, intergenerational trauma, self-esteem, and are looking to achieve a meaningful life aligned with their values. I understand the nuances and challenges of growing up with conflicting values and identities and how that can have adverse impacts on the way we function in the world today. Together, we can unlearn stuck ways of thinking, feeling, and responding. In time, you can feel empowered and thrive in the systems you once felt oppressed in.
