Bio
I’m a relationship therapist, premarital counselor and sex therapist (in training)who strives to create an inclusive environment so people and couples of all backgrounds can feel safe, supported, and free to be honest about their experiences. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are motivated to increase emotional safety, rebuild trust, navigate life transitions (including dating coaching, premarital counseling, break ups/divorces), open communication and rebuild emotional and sexual intimacy.
Our work will be informed by general systems theory, the Gottman Method, and I am extremely strength-based and solution-focused. This means, while working with me, I believe you are the expert on you so we will focus on what has been working and building on what works best for the way you see and experience the world.
I aspire to advance racial equity within mental health spaces and entered this field to continue conversations around the stigma and shame that may surround people (especially people of color) from seeking therapeutic services. I acknowledge the value behind feeling deeply understood by someone and hope you feel open, vulnerable and seen, with me.
